About Lead & Lane

Lead & Lane helps you check the dog rule that applies on a beach today, and find pubs, cafés and private dog fields in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset.

Beach dog rules are seasonal, so each beach page shows the season, the hours and the date the rule was last checked. Pubs and cafés appear only when their listing records that dogs are allowed; where that applies, the listing does not say whether it means inside or outside.

We do not show ratings, reviews, prices or booking. Distances are calculated in your browser only after you share your location, and are straight-line distances.

Pictures on this site are illustrative scenes and never show the listed place.
